Adelaide Festival Writers' Week

Adelaide Festival Writers' Week, being held in the Pioneer Women's Memorial Gardens during 3 - 8 March 2012, will bring together writers from around the world and across Australia to the delight of hundreds of thousands of readers.

The 2012 Writers' Week will present a re-invigorated program which will connect with its audience in new and innovative ways. This includes educational programs on a Schools Day Friday March 2, issues-focussed lunchtime and evening sessions, family friendly sessions and a kid's activity area.

Writers’ Week is a celebration of words, one that promises to surprise, delight, challenge and entertain, bringing some of the world’s finest minds to Adelaide for a week of discussion and debate. Readers from across the cultural spectrum hear writers discuss fiction, history, biography, religion, economics, culture, the environment, food, film, comics, poetry and picture books.
